Carryduff 2008’s won a cracking match against Andersonstown Celtic on Saturday 12th March.
Rafe, Ciaran, Jack, Owen, Wiktor, Liam and Garbhan all had outstanding games today and displayed great determination to finish the game with 3 unanswered goals to win 13-10.
Rafe was all always unbelievable in nets and kept the Andersonstown Celtic boys at bay in a first period in which Carryduff stormed into a 6-1 lead with a hat trick from Jack, two goals from Owen and one from Liam.
Ciaran was immense in defense as always throughout the entire game and Garbhan who had a guest appearance today displayed no nonsense defending against a tough Andersonstown team.
Liam in only his second game for the team really came to life in the second period with two brilliant goals from distance to complete his hat trick. Owen also completed his hat trick with a super finish after a great move.
Wiktor who played in defense in the first period also got in on the scoring with 2 well taken goals in the third period.
The Andersonstown boys fought back to level the score at 10-10 but the Carryduff boys finished the game off with three brilliant goals in the last 5 mins to complete the win.
