2003 Fundraising Activities for Ayr Trip
Carryduff Colts 2003s are planning to take two U14 teams to the ESF Tournament in Ayr over the May Day weekend in 2017 (depart Friday 28th April, returning Monday 1st May). The Club has participated at this tournament for many years, although we were unfortunately unable to attend last year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our club to experience a tournament against quality teams from across Scotland & England and various other home Leagues too, have a bit of end of season fun with their team-mates and represent the Club in this prestigious event.
We currently anticipate booking 4 mini-buses, each holding 14 people. In addition to that there are costs for accommodation, breakfast, lunches, hoodys, t-shirts and competition entry fees for each child. In previous years, through the provision of dedicated fundraising activities, the fees parents had to pay were subsidised.
In order to help subsidise those fees, the 2003 children and parents will be running some fundraising activities over the coming months.
Some dates for your diary:
1. Johnny Hero’s Pub Quiz – 20th October
This will cost £5 per person and no more than 6 people per team. You can pay on the night but we would like to gauge numbers for the venue so if interested, please contact Johnny directly at djjohnnyhero@yahoo.com
2. Bucket Collection
The 2003 boys will be doing a ‘Bucket Collection’ at Brackenvale on 17th December and selling raffle tickets for a Crimbo Hamper.
3. 28th January ‘Night at the Races’
