Firsts lose at Home

Carryduff Colts 1 – 2 Ravenhill YM

It was a game that will not live long in the memory of the watching few. Both teams huffed and puffed in the first half with very few scoring chances and finished 0-0 at halftime.

The second half started pretty much the same until a chance shot which took a wicked deflection past the despairing dive from Conor Mc Cann in the Carryduff goal opened the scoring for Ravenhill.

Carryduff brought on their final 2 subs and within a minute were level from a super strike from the right boot of Brownlee ending a barren spell from the striker going back several games.

It looked like the game would fizzle out to a 1-1 draw until Ravenhill’s number 11 struck a wonder goal into the top left hand side of Mc Canns goal to give Ravenhill all 3 points.
