On a very wet and windy Saturday, the lads turned out in the 3rd of the Cup against local rivals Rosario Youth.

The difference between a top of the Premier League squad against 2nd Div opponent was evident early on as the Colts played into a strong wind and win 10 minutes were 2:0 up, the football was free flowing and Rosario rarely got out of their own half. The pick of the first half 5 goals was actually the fantastic run from Donal Healy who twisted and turned the Rosario defence before being taken down, what a fantastic run, and Donal picked himself up to dispatch the penalty into the corner.

The half ended 5:0 to the Colts with now real pressure from Rosario.

A few changes made at the half, and with the wind at the Colts back it was more of the same in the second half, except more goals! Jonny Wilson completed his hat-trick, as did Ryan Tweedy with 30 minutes! The goals kept coming from many quality moves and if wasn’t from a great performance from the Rosario keeper it could have been more. Rosario pulled one back but by that time the contest was over. The game ended 13:1 to the Colts who now move into the qtr finals of the cup and remain unbeaten in league & cup!!
