Carryduff 2007s v Lisburn Youth

Carryduff 2007s - Lisburn Youth

coltscircleAnother fantastic result and performance from the always improving little lions. Again, as it is in this strong league, they were up against a very talented Lisburn Youth team who played some lovely football.

Once more, the hard work at training was clear to see as the boys in yellow started well, playing some great football and winning every tackle. The always impressive Harry “in his usual beast mode” continued his good form and allowed the rest of the team to go all out attack. After great work from Eoin, sharp shooter Cain put Carryduff in front, followed by a calmly taken goal by Dan. Oisin ran hard and terrorised the defence getting his reward with a fine strike to make the game comfortable.

At the other end Noah won every ball, with Will constantly a threat from taking the ball out of defence at pace. Josh and Eoin kept up the pressure with some super tackling and Carryduff got another following some slick passing and another finish from marauding midfielder Dan. Cain continued to work the defence and soon after Oisin got another well deserved goal.

Rory, in nets, was almost unbeatable, except for a volley into the top of the corner effort by the excellent Lisburn Youth striker. Definitely goal of the game. Carryduff are showing how good they are in this very tough league and are showing signs that they will be hard to beat for the rest of the season.
