Colts kits in Madagascar – Update!

Earlier this year we shared the great news that Carryduff Colts had donated old football kits, training gear and medals to our partner Adsum Foundation’s schools and football clubs in Madagascar.

We are now delighted to inform everyone that after months of travelling, the gear landed safe and sound in Madagascar and it has been distributed over the last number of months to teams who were very excited to receive it.

The donation of old kits ties in with one of the club’s new kit sponsors choosing to raise awareness for Adsum Foundation on the front of new shirts this season. So not only does Adsum Foundation’s logo now feature on eight Colt’s teams’ shirts during the boys and girls matches each week, but the Colts’ jerseys will be on display on playing fields in Madagascar too!

Thanks to everyone who helped make this possible.

Another shipment will be going out to Madagascar in the new year, including several more old Carryduff Colts kits, and Adsum have also announced that they will be doing a collection of old and unloved football boots and shirts after the holidays.  So anyone who might be clearing out after Christmas just put things aside for now and watch this space in January on how to donate them to a good cause.
